Waltzing Mathilda

"Waltzing Mathilda" és una coneguda cançó folklòrica australiana que ha segut proposada com a himne nacional en aquell país. Aquesta cançó els australians li tenen molt de carinyo, fins i tot existeix un museu dedicat a ella a Winton, Queensland.

Va ser composta per Andrew Barton Paterson "Banjo Paterson" l'any 1895, un poeta nacionalista australià. La versió original va ser modificada i és aquesta la que s'ha fet més familiar.
